Visiting Angel’s of Orland Park is currently seeking a part time Office Assistant trainee to join our compassionate team. This position is an entry level position to the non-medical homecare industry and could lead to a full time position for the right candidate. The office assistant is a key member of the office staff that maintains current and accurate information in our business system that allows for the efficient operation of the office functions and will be introduced to the coordination of services between clients and caregivers for the implementation of schedules, adequate staffing and continuity of care to best meet the needs of our clients.
The ideal candidate must reside within our service area, approximately 5-7 miles from Orland Park and have 2-4 years of experience in a health care related field such as medical or social services (LPN, LSW preferred, RN considered, medication management). Demonstrated qualities in customer service, problem solving, organizational skills, flexibility and the ability to work well with and coordinate with the work of others. Must also be computer literate, self-motivated, enjoy challenges and an effective decision maker. Office experience, care management or scheduling experience a plus.
After training the successful candidate could advance to a full time care management / scheduler or Medication Management position. Competitive Salary.
