We are a small but nationally regarded treatment facility for women with eating disorders, located in Miami, and seeking Recovery Coaches as part of our treatment team. This position will provide and maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu based on the compassionate approach of our multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Job Description:
Monitors patients’ emotional well being (including eating disordered behaviors) during the shift, and intervenes with recovery focused directives when appropriate.
Is responsible for transporting patients to and from Center safely and in a timely manner, in a vehicle that is provided by the Center.
Participates in and monitors daily meals and snacks with patients, including snack preparation.
Facilitates Meal Pre-Planning and Meal Process Groups.
Documents in daily reports and patient meal logs all information, interactions, communications, behaviors and interventions in a timely fashion.
Demonstrates knowledge and awareness of a patient’s needs as a whole person, and addresses psychosocial, spiritual, and cultural issues as appropriate for each individual.
Will work 12 hour shifts, either day or overnight, in a 7 day a week facility. Both part time and full time positions available.
Job Requirements:
LPN/Licensed Medical Assistant
HS diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred, Psychology a plus
Have and maintain a drivers license
Warm, engaging and thoughtful. Great interpersonal skills a must
Knowledge of eating disorders a plus

8. Participates in case conferences, team meetings, staff meetings, and Performance Improvement activities as assigned.
9. Provide supervision for licensed practical nurse and/or home health aide as assigned.
10. Provide any skilled nursing service for which appropriately trained which is prescribed under the plan of care.
11. Provides monthly summary of killed services and client outcomes to physician and Agency supervisor in keeping with Agency policies and procedures. Provides information for 60 day progress reports.
12. Adheres to all Agency policies and procedures including but not limited to the HIPAA Privacy rule.
