Nurse RN LPN med/surg extended care LTAC: Care IV Home Health has a NEW patient in Jacksonville, Arkansas! We are seeking Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to care for this pediatric patient one-on-one. Examples of duties may include (but are not necessarily limited to): feedings, administering medication, monitoring blood pressure, and related total care. We are seeking RNs or LPNs to work 12p-8p. Shifts available during the week and/or on weekends. You choose when and how often you schedule shifts. Provide care for our patient as little as one shift per week, or up to 40hrs per week. Patient is available NOW! Training and benefits available. One Patient / One Nurse.
Interested Nurses must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with at least 1 year of recent, direct-patient care experience specifically in an RN or LPN role. Previous home care, pediatric or private duty experience is not required.

Private Duty Nurse RN LPN med/surg extended care: Care IV Home Health is currently hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses for one-on-one care in Conway, AR. We have 3 separate patients in the Conway area who need private duty care. We currently have various day, evening and night shifts available (see list below). As a Private Duty Nurse, you provide care to only ONE patient during your 8, 10 or 12hr shift. Work consistently with the same patient. You can choose to work as little as 1 shift per week or up to 40hrs per week, depending on your scheduling needs and our patients’ availability. REQUIREMENTS: Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with at least 1 year of recent, direct-patient care experience specifically in an RN or LPN role. Previous private duty or home care experience is not required. Med/surg, hospital, nursing home, LTAC, or related experience is preferred.

Summary: Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Supervisor, a Licensed Practical Nurse will provide holistic care to adolescents and children served by Methodist Family Health.
Responsibilities:
Â• Provide ongoing care and observation of clients.
Â• Documents all data accurately in a timely manner.
Â• Administers medications and documents according to Methodist Family Health Policy.
Â• Assists Physician and Registered Nurses as needed.
Â• Insures maintenance of the therapeutic environment through proper use of the Teaching-Family Model of care.
Â• Provides health teaching to patients and their families.
Â• Assists in the implementation of the treatment plan.
Â• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment and communicates pertinent data to other service providers as needed.
Â• Assists in preparation and helps maintain compliance with Licensing, Medicaid and JCAHO standards.
Â• Takes advantage of professional growth opportunities and in-service training.
Â• Attends regular staff meetings, as required.
Â• Provides and maintains requested information and program records.
Â• Demonstrates knowledge and utilization of appropriate CPI techniques.
Â• Documents in progress notes accurate and detailed descriptions of patients’ behaviors relative to treatment plan and diagnoses. (Provide a sample).
Â• Must demonstrate competency for waived testing or for phlebotomy.
Â• Responsibility is assumed for continuing educational and professional development and contributions are made to the professional growth of others. Continuing education, etc. will be documented and copies provided to the personnel department to be kept in employee’s record.
Â• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Nurse Supervisor, Director of Nursing, or other applicable personnel.
Qualifications:
Â• Arkansas Licensed Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.

RN/LPN/PARAMEDIC JOB SUMMARY
The RN/LPN/Paramedic is responsible for the evaluation of potential donors for automated plasmapheresis procedures. Determines donor suitability of new and applicant donors for plasmapheresis procedures and immunizations by conducting evaluations to ensure criteria of normal plasma donors are met and in accordance with SOP, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP. Reviews informed consent forms for plasmapheresis, immunization, and clinical trials. Reviews accumulated data in a timely fashion to confirm suitability and consult with donor center physician as needed.
RN/LPN/PARAMEDIC REQUIREMENTS – Graduate of a recognized healthcare related educational program such as Physician or Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse). Certified/licensed as an emergency medical technician (EMT 2-intermediate or 3-advanced/paramedic). – Any specific state licensing requirements must be met per location. – Alabama: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. – California: Must be a Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and be licensed in the state. – 1 year experience in the hospital or field care or experience in a plasma center preferred.
