This is a healthcare-focused position working directly with patients and their families, doctors and other medical personnel in a dynamic and professional environment to provide the highest level of quality healthcare to all patients.
Responsibilities
• Assists professional medical staff personnel in providing clinical and administrative duties
• Assists with diagnostic and treatment procedures, including IV insertion
• Provide extraordinary customer service to all internal and external customers at all times
• Address / resolve any customer-service issues
• Ensure accuracy of medications provided to patients
• Ensure accurate indexing of all paperwork
Requirements
Education/Experience:
• Current LPN license in the State of Virginia
• Must be IV certified
• Minimum of 2 years medical / surgical experience or 2 years experience in medical office environment
Skills:
• Ability to communicate and work with doctors, patients and other team members in a professional manner
• Skill in operating phones, personal computer, software and other IT systems
• Skill in taking patients' vital signs, and obtaining blood and other samples for laboratory work
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports and data
• Ability to manage multiple processes and lead a team of Medical Assistants
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
