Prefer RN. . ..or STRONG LVN with excellent supervisor skills
-Will take someone from a Managed Care Company OR Hospital – If Hospital experience (med/surg/NICU, CC, etc.) – If Managed Care exp-should be knowledgeable in areas of Concurrent Review, Hospital Discharge (vs. something like Prior Auth’s. **This dept’s goal is to get people OUT of the hospital fast and most of their admissions are in Peds, Med Surg, etc.)
-Will take someone who has Hospital or Managed Care exp. BUT Their Supervisory experience is in another area-like Long Term Care, etc.
-Manages a team of 20 trying to get people out of the hospital faster with more cost effective treatments. – Computer literate (will be doing audits) Location: San Antonio Compensation: 60K-70K with 6% Bonus
