Part Time LVN for Home and Community Service Program in Grapevine/North Richland Hills, Texas
Job Description: The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for assisting in coordinating the client's care. Administers and provides nursing care according to the plan of care to Special Needs Adults, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act of the The State of Texas. Provides accurate documentation and billing for state reimbursement. Provides direct skilled nursing care as client's health requires. Evaluates client's needs in the preparation and executions of the interdisciplinary plan of care for each client. Evaluates effectiveness of treatments and monitors patient's reactions. Maintains a clean and safe environment. Maintains accurate clinical notes in accordance to DAD's regulations and reports significant findings or changes of the client's condition to the Registered Nurse, or Physician. Administers medications as required. Participates in Nurse LVN on call rotation/schedule in order to meet the needs of the client's.
Requirements: Must have a current LVN license in good standing with Texas Board of Nursing
Minimum of 5-10 years experience in a medical-surgical environment
Previous experience in HCS environment required, or knowledge of Department of Aging and Disability Services
Flexible hours and days. On-call duty required. Location: Grapevine/North Richland Hills, Texas
Compensation: Negotiable
