Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN ~ Assisted Living (oakland lake merritt / grand)

At Piedmont Gardens, we have some excellent opportunities available for talented LVNs to bring their prior experience working with seniors to a great senior community. As one of our LVN's you will provide outstanding customer service to our residents by answering questions, call lights, ordering and administering medications and treatment, charting and documentation, supervising certified nursing assistants, responding to emergency calls or other resident needs and other related essential duties as needed. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years prior experience in an assisted living or skilled nursing type setting and must possess a valid California Nursing License along with current CPT and First Aid certificate.

We are seeking part-time on-call nurses and have a variety of shifts available which include AM, PM and NOC shifts. Most shifts include working weekends.

Qualified candidates will be computer literate and possess a wonderful caring and upbeat personality. Other necessary attributes include being self-motivated, work well with others and with minimal supervision. You must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Prior experience in a retirement community and with RCFE Title 22 Regulations a definite plus. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
