Job Title: Part Time/Weekend LPN
Work Schedule: Saturday and Sunday; 4 hours each day
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Working under close to general supervision of the Lead Nurse with oversight from the Medical Director, is responsible for meeting the nursing clinical needs of substance abusing patients. Responsible for the accountability and dispensing of medication prescribed by the program physician(s) to the R.E.A.C.H. Health Services patient population. Maintains various patient information records on a daily basis. Assists in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient's treatment plan(s). Ensures the comfort and safety of patients receiving medication or care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Graduation from a practical nursing program that meets the requirements of the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
2. Current licensure in good standing as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
3. Prefer at least one year's experience as a licensed practical nurse in a health care program or health care facility, which includes some experience in mental health or substance abuse treatment. Compensation: Determined by education and experience
