LPN-Management Position-Full time (Sparks, Nevada)

We are seeking a highly motivated LPN to join our dedicated and compassionate team with experience in staff development, medication administration, and scheduling. In conjunction with the Administrator, this position is responsible for the care-giving department.
This position hires, trains, supervises and schedules our care-giving staff members. The individual in this position is responsible to coordinate, monitor and evaluate the services for patient care needs. Must be able to function well in a highly demanding role. Experience in long term care and dementia preferred.
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting, hiring, training and scheduling of staff members.
Monitor the medical needs of our patients.
Assist with the new resident move in process.
Perform Quality Assurance Audits as directed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills/Experience
Recent history of strong caregiver experience in a dementia setting.
Recent history of strong medication assistant experience in assisted living.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Positive and cheerful disposition with dynamic team spirit.
Good teacher.
Proven leadership qualities.
Proven organizational qualities.
Comfortable making decisions and directing others.
Able to perform frequent lifting of less than, or equal to, 50 pounds.
Able to occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
Able to pass criminal background and drug screening test.
Education
LPN license in good standing
Currently certified and willing to maintain CPR Certification.
