The LPN Supervisor is responsible for the daily management and oversight of the Pediatric and OB departments. Is accountable to supervise the clinical operations staff at the site to ensure efficient quality of care, promote smooth patient flow and provider satisfaction. Complies with all programs and processes required to meet quality or regulatory compliance. Assists in the capture and analysis of data related the assigned department(s). Works collaboratively with RN managers, the team Leads, Divison chiefs and the operational staff at the site.
* There are 2 LPN Supervisor positions. One position is based out of the Nellis Clinic and the other is out of the South Eastern Clinic.*
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for ensuring smooth daily clinical operations for the department(s) at assignedsite.
* Assist with the interview, selection, and hiring process.
* Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance of clinical staff to maintain quality delivery of care
* Ensure proper staffing for clinical support and PAR levels for drugs, immunizations and supplies.
* Teach and mentor clinical staff to ensure proper training and professional development
* Uses data and reports to determine issues affecting clinic operations, and makes suggestions for improvements to address variances.
* Works collaboratively with operations staff on site staff to ensure seamless operations from front to back of clinic
* Ensure staff and operations meet audits and regulatory compliance.
* Supports strategic goals and implements new programs as required.
* Manage time requests, FMLA and leaves and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained.
* Follow standard protocols, processes, and policies to include but not limited to the following: Medication Refill, Preventative Services, Managing Conditions, and Disease Case Management as signed by department head or designee.
Positions in this function are responsible for overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients. Employees are involved in direct patient care in a clinic setting.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Active, unrestricted LPN License in the state of Nevada required.
* 2+ years clinical nursing experience required. (Preferably in an outpatient clinic setting)
* 1+ years of supervisory/team lead experience with performance managementfunctions preferred.
* Obgyn and Pediatric experience highly preferred.
* CPR/BLS certification required.
* Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferred.
* PALS or willing to obtain upon hire required.
* Must possess a valid Nevada driver’s license and maintain personal auto insurance coverage for floating, meetings etc.
