The incumbent provides a wide range of clinical and technical services to the Veteran that demonstrates complex technical judgment under general supervision of a Registered Nurse or MD.ÂThe complexity of duties include serving as the site imager for Telehealth store and forward applications, facilitator for real time Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT) encounters, including patient education activities, Primary Care as well as specialty care remote visits, and providing equipment for the Home Telehealth (HT) program. Additionally they will provide technical and scheduling support, and other program support duties, as assigned.KEY REQUIREMENTSU. S. CitizenshipMust pass pre-employment examinationEnglish Language Proficiency requiredDesignated and-or Random Drug Testing requiredBackground and-or Security Investigation required Required Skills: QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:CITIZENSHIP. Citizen of the United States.ÂÂLICENSURE. Full, active, current and unrestricted licensure as aÂlicensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia.Must have a current active, unrestricted driver's license.ÂCERTIFICATION. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.ÂEXPERIENCE:ÂÂTwo years Six months working as an LPNÂPREFERED EXPERIENCE:ÂPast experience inÂComputerized Patient Records,ÂCompetentÂKeyboarding/Typing skills, andÂexperience usingÂMicrosoft ExcelENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: If you are appointed to a direct patient-care position, you must be proficient in spoken and written English as required by 38 USC 4105(c).ÂÂÂEDUCATION: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State agency, and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant.ÂThe National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), an accrediting arm of the National League for Nursing or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), an accrediting arm of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).
