Working as a nurse at HBI is fun, challenging and extremely rewarding. Homeward Bound nurses are responsible for the delivery of specialized health care services. Nurses work together to ensure that the individual maintains optimal health and physical well-being. Nursing professionals work closely with Program services to ensure a holistic approach to the individuals we serve and their needs. Join our team and make a difference in people's lives. This position requires a current nursing license in the state of MN. NEW GRADS WELCOME!
We currently have every other weekend and on-call at our ICF in Brooklyn Park AND part time day positions at our 4 person CAC home in Brooklyn Park.
Requirements
• Current nursing license in the state of MN.
• A valid Minnesota driver's license with a good driving record is mandatory.
• You must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds as most of our individuals require assistance with transfers.
• You must be able to understand, speak, read, and write the English language.
• Because we provide services to vulnerable children and adults Homeward Bound will only employ applicants who pass a criminal background check.
• You must be 18 years of age or older for all direct support positions
