LPN/Certified Medical Assistant wanted for a part-time position at the Elmore County Jail. Come and join the new specialty of correctional medicine. Your duties would include assisting the practitioner with medical clinic, passing medications to inmates twice a day, evaluating newly booked inmates for health problems, and keeping the medical office organized. You will be working with a large team of jail medical specialists and Sheriff's deputies in a job that is fulfilling and interesting. With flexible hours enjoy the freedom of being able to leave during the day after your work in complete, no swing or night shifts. When the holidays come around you don't have to worry about work 12 or even and 8 hour shift, holiday hours are minimal, typically med passes only. This is a job that will allow you to use your full range of nursing skills! Every other weekend, call, a minimal travel once a week to nearby county required. However, you get paid, in addition to your hourly wage, to take call and your travel time.
MUST LIVE IN THE MOUNTAIN HOME AREA
MUST BE ABLE TO RESPOND INTO THE JAIL WITHIN 15 MINUTES WHEN YOU ARE ON-CALL.
