Busy and growing primary care medical office, seeking friendly, experienced, and motivated LPN for full-time or part-time employment.
Our ideal candidate should have 2+ years in nursing experience and possess exceptional customer service and people skills.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Phlebotomy--Venipuncture Blood Draws, Vacutainer and Butterfly
Performing CLIA Waived Lab Tests
Answering Telephones
Giving Injections under Physician Supervision
Rooming Patients and Taking Vitals
Performing In-Office Testing (including ECG and Spirometry)
Checking Patients In and Out for Appointments
Scheduling Appointments
Insurance Verification
Processing Referrals, Prior Authorizations, and Refill Requests under Physician Supervision
Triaging Patient Phone Calls and Emails; Expertly and Urgently Handling Patient Requests
Working Directly with Physicians for Patient Care
Patient Communication--Calling Patients with Lab and Scan Results, Prescription Confirmations, Appointment Reminders
Processing Patient Payments at Time of Appointment
Patient Data Management--Patient Data Input, Medical Records Requests, Electronic Medical Records
Front and Back Office Tasks Needed to Operate a Successful Medical Practice
This team oriented position requires the ability to Multi-Task efficiently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position will be expected to work both front and back office as needed. Obtains basic complaint information from patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information in patients' charts. Required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Reports to the Practice Manager.
The ideal candidate is:
LPN with at least two years of experience
A highly motivated individual who can take direction from a supervisor and think independently when necessary. Must be willing to go the extra mile for patient care and have great attention to detail and commitment to doing the best job possible, handling tasks from beginning to end.
An experienced professional who has a proven track record of exceptional performance in all previous work experience.
A responsible adult who loves caring for adults and children of all ages.
An adult who manages their time well, is punctual, and can work additional hours when needed.
Friendly and outgoing personality, and sense of humor is a MUST.
Must be accurate with documents and willing help improve our office efficiency.
Responsible, reliable, organized, non-smoking individual
Earned a High school diploma or equivalent and certification as a LPN.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the medical field required. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Office Hours are 8-5 Mon-Thur, 8-12 Fri. Nonsmoking work environment. If you have experience with Eclinicalworks EMR its a HUGE plus so let us know if you have this experience. Include salary requirements and your preference for full or part time. Position can be either FT or PT. Looking for a person willing to stay long term. Must be very professional with great communication skills and computer skills. Location: Hendersonville, TN
