RN/LPN Needed to Conduct Credentialing Site Reviews for BH Health Plan (Amarillo, TX)

UNIVAL, Inc located in Ann Arbor, MI is a vendor for managed care organizations providing integrated services to the healthcare industry nationwide. Currently UNIVAL is seeking an RN or LPN to conduct credentialing site evaluations on behalf of several major health insurance companies. The qualified candidate will conduct on-site evaluation(s) of the requested facilities policy/procedure manuals, inspect the office and tour the site to ensure cleanliness. The ideal candidate must have an active nursing license in good standing, be self-motivated, able to work independently and be a great communicator.
This position is a contract opportunity providing flexible scheduling as well as mileage and travel time reimbursements. Prior contractor experience is preferred but not required. All contractors are responsible for scheduling their appointments and returning via mail completed audit form(s) upon completion to UNIVAL's corporate office in Ann Arbor, MI. A professional appearance and communication skills are essential. Training will be provided to you by a UNIVAL representative so you understand the scope and requirements of the project. Assignment volume is not able to be determined in any given area. When assignments are available, reviewers are notified accordingly.
Working PC with Internet Explorer, printer and e-mail are necessary. You must be computer savvy and be able to diligently maintain contact with our corporate office in Ann Arbor, MI.
