STAFF REGISTERED NURSE
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilizes the nursing process and current pediatric clinical knowledge to provide professional nursing care for children in the Get Well Place and the Rainbow Station.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current State of Virginia nursing license.
At least two years of recent PEDIATRIC EXPERIENCE.
CPR certified or obtain certification within six months of hire date.
Successful completion of a physical assessment course prior to or within the first six months of employment.
First Aid certified.
LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides skilled nursing care for children in the Get Well Place under the supervision of the registered nurse.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a love for children and an ability to relate well with them, their families, and teachers.
Current LPN licensure.
Minimum 1 year pediatric experience within last five years.
CPR certified.
First Aid certified.
