Medical Assistant/LPN/RN- Specialist- Allergy technician (Buffalo Grove)

Small but busy private allergy practice (pediatric & adult) seeks a certified medical assistant, LPN or RN with experience, or willingness to train, in the highly technical field of allergy/immunology. Our need is for 4 days a week (M, W, Th, F) and one Sat morning a month but will consider a part time placement for the right candidate. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Paid time off, 401K, profit sharing, health insurance options are available. Duties include basic triage, detailed and knowledgeable phone triage (English fluency), preparation and management of extracts, prick and intradermal allergy testing, allergy shots, flu vaccines, spirometry, anaphylaxis and asthma management (supervised), paper chart management, medication management, supply management and maintaining patient flow. Veinipuncture is not a requirement as lab is on site.
We hope to fill this position between now and mid Feb. in time for the spring rush.
