SEEKING IMMEDIATE LPN's with recent medical surgical experience for busy medical practice
The LPN position will provide nursing support to all providers for a busy medical practice. This is demonstrated by collaboratively working with the health care team by providing patient information that impacts the planning, directing, providing and evaluating patient care. The LPN will serve as a direct care nurse.Responsibilities:
• Prepares patient for examination
• Obtains and accurately records patients vital signs
• Documents components of patient history as indicated on information sheet
• Documents patients chief complaint
• Documents patients medications and allergies on medication list
• Prepares patient and supplies for examinations
• Accurately records information on interdisciplinary sheet
• Performs dressing changes as directed by provider
• Suture/Staple removalQualifications:
• A current licensure of Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
• Current CPR certification
• A minimum of one year experience as LPN
• Office experience preferred in a surgical and/or primary care settingKey Skills:
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, and their family members or other employees within the work setting.
• Ability to work with others to accomplish a task or goal, be flexible with work practices, procedures, and/or processes, work efficiently with others to find solutions.
• Ability to coordinate resources toward fulfillment of desired objectives. We are seeking an immediate start for professional dependable LPN's in the ALBANY Area
