Mount Olivet Rolling Acres is currently hiring a full time, benefit eligible, overnight nurse at our group home located in Shakopee. The nurse will be responsible for hospital level, one to one overnight cares. Must be willing to perform tracheotomy cares, urinary catheterizing, and G-tube feedings and cares. Confident in transferring and repositioning resident without assistance. New grads are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
Hours -- Sunday through Tuesday 10:00pm to 8:00am and every other Saturday 10:00pm -- 8:00am

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
ï€ Monitor consumers health concerns
ï€ Promote a hygienic environment and healthy lifestyle
ï€ Provide needed medical care to consumers
ï€ Provide medical knowledge to care givers
ï€ Promote infection control, accident prevention
ï€ Communicate with families, guardians, and supervisors
ï€ Assist in writing reports, forms, and assessments
ï€ Assist in writing height and weight records
ï€ Give employees health care instructions
ï€ Provides training in consumer care to new hires and on-going/annual training to all household staff
ï€ Ensures adequate supervision of consumers
ï€ Works harmoniously with and shows respect for employees, supervisors, vendors and consumers
ï€ Performs other duties as assigned
Desirable Qualifications:
ï€ must have current nursing license in state of Minnesota (LPN or RN)
ï€ work experience or training with Developmental Disabilities
ï€ must pass Department of Human Services background check and maintain "qualified" status
ï€ must not be excluded from working in government health programs by the Office Of Inspector General
ï€ must be able to successfully complete company's basic job skills assessment
ï€ if using own vehicle for company business, must have a current valid driver's license and must have insurance as required by state law
