ATTENTION CLINICAL PROFESSIONALS! MedAssurant is rapidly growing in MI ! We are looking for experienced healthcare professionals to join our expanding organization. Are you a Nurse, with at least one year of experience, who is looking to pursue career growth outside of Bedside nursing Are you a Certified Coder who is interested in learning HCC codes now required by CMS for reimbursement Are you a Medical/Nursing Assistant who is looking to gain additional career experience in collecting essential data from medical records/patient charts

If so, MedAssurant has a great opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for an up-coming project in Ann Arbor which involves reviewing medical records and patient charts for various Health Care Plans in MI .

This is a travel based position. There is a travel/mileage reimbursement structure; paid training; competitive hourly compensation; and flexible hours/ scheduling.
Requirements for the position include:
(1) One year of prior professional experience within your scope of practice;(2) One of the following active & valid certifications/ licensures/diplomas: RN; LPN; CPC ; CCS; CNA or CMA;(3) High-speed Internet installed in your home (DSL, Cable or FIOS; no dial-up/satellite/aircard;(4) Experience working with medical records or patient charts;(5) Minimum availability of 24 hours per week (during normal business hours only);(6) Willingness to travel up to 60 miles one way; and(7) Computer proficiency required. ****If interested in the opportunity, please submit a resume and your availability for a phone interview to rgrady@medassurant.com ****
