Heritage Club-Denver Tech Center is a senior living community centrally located in the Denver Tech Center. We provide a full spectrum of senior living services and personalized care to the residents we serve. We are currently looking for an LPN to join our dynamic Health & Wellness Team. You will provide residents with nursing services and administers medications and treatments in accordance with physicians' orders within state licensure regulations.
LPN-Part Time
24 Hours
Friday 2:00PM-10:00PM
Saturday 10:00PM-6:00AM
Sunday 10:00PM-6:00AM
Essential Job Functions:
1. Assists in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment in the best interests of residents.
2. Monitor and direct Resident Care Associates.
3. Assists in writing service plans based on resident needs.
4. Obtains and administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician. Documents and reviews medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders, professional standards,
federal and state regulations and company policy.
5. Monitors responses to treatment plans. Possesses knowledge of medication interactions and notifies Health & Wellness Director or Resident Care Coordinator of any occurrences. Adheres to infection control
policies and procedures.
6. Counts controlled substances with off going nurse or QMAP; secures and corrects reconciliation of controlled substances during shift.
7. Assures cleanliness and organization of medicine supply room and security of discontinued medicine in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
8. Possesses knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control standards.
9. Follows policies and procedures to ensure resident safety.
10. Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers.
