Fulltime position - 32 hours minimum per week - is open now at busy Pediatric practice for R.N. or L.P.N. with recent pediatric experience and unrestricted Oregon license. Position is also open for Medical assistants with recent pediatric experience, certification, or certificate of graduation from Medical Assistant program.
This is a fun and challenging job working with a great team of Medical Providers and professional staff who are dedicated to helping children. We are looking for someone to join our team who has the ability and enjoys interacting with newborns to young adults and their parents. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Â• Rooming patients, measure vital signs - blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, take and plot height and weight - and record the information in patient charts.
Â• Prepare and stock exam rooms including cleaning between patients, sterilize instruments, collect urine or throat specimens for in-house lab tests or order outside blood tests, x-rays, etc. per doctors' orders.
Â• Triage patient telephone calls, call in prescriptions, and assist doctors with office procedures such as sutures, circumcisions, breathing treatments, and ear washes.
Â• Must have knowledge and experience giving vaccines and immunizations.
