A Baltimore area non profit that operates about 33 homes for adults and children with disabilities & behavioral issues is looking for an LPN that would like to have some LPN responsibilities to handle medications, but at same time be involved in reviewing the medical records for the people in our independent living units, & following up on appointments.
This is a full time position, but is part nurse, part office worker, part medicine administrator. You would be travelling daily in the Randallstown/Windsor Mill area. You must have excellent communication skills.
Our permanant staff in the homes provide structure and supervision in support of the resident's Individualized Plan (IP), developing and reinforcing resident's daily living skills, supervisings and participating in the daily activities. The staff in the homes administer MOST of the medications required by the resident's; however this position back them up and will be involved in reviewing records. This position requires LPN certfication, HS diploma, related experience and valid driver's license. Must be 21 years of age or older to be considered for any positions in residential programs. You must be extremely detail oriented, organized, and reliable.
Well qualifed staff will have past experience in the healthcare field and DDA training. Must be able to attend mandatory orientation and training as scheduled. Location: Baltimore metro
Compensation: based on experience and qualifications
