Urology Practice in West Ashley seeking a CMA or LPN for FT position. M-F, no call, no weekends. Must have at least 3 years experience in medical office setting. Phlebotomy required. Applicant must be a team player with excellent people and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must.Surgery scheduling and Greenway EMR experience preferred. General Duties include:(but not limited to)
Performs selected nursing and administrative duties.
Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Takes patient histories and vital signs.
Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
Gives injections and applies dressings.
Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.
Screens telephone calls for referral to nurse or physician.
Provides general information on departmental policies and procedures.
Orders and maintains clinical and office supplies and equipment.
Maintains patient files, records and other information.
Compiles and condenses technical and statistical data for reports and records.
Attends required meetings and participates on committees as requested.
Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
Maintains patient confidentiality. Location: West Ashley
Compensation: Compensation based on experience/Full benefits after 90 days/401K
