Female RN or LPN for NOC shift--Home Care (Minnetonka)

Regular, steady NOC shift with stable client
Female Nurses only (per client preference)
Shift: Every Other Sunday NOC, starting 1/8/2012 or 1/22/2012, 7pm-7am
Client is fully cognitive, adult female quadriplegic with trach/vent (LTV 950/800)
The ideal candidate will adhere to high professional standards while providing client with excellent care throughout the night.
Physical Requirements
Ability to hear
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Ability to stand for 1 hour at a time.
Ability to manage transfers of adult client up to 140 lbs. with electric lift.
Essential Qualifications
Female nurses only (client preference)
Current MN Nursing License (RN or LPN)
Current CPR for Healthcare providers
Ability to read and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
Home Care Experience
Trach and Vent (LTV 950/800) hands-on experience within the last 6 months
Essential Functions
Competent medical care for client, including timely assessments and appropriate interventions and therapies to maintain medical stability or identify areas of possible concern.
Appropriate interaction with client to support client's social and emotional goals.
Additional Functions
Appropriate interaction with client family.
Professional approach to working with other staff members.
Candidates must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States withing 3 days of hire.
