HEDIS RNs/LPNs Medical Record Review (Indianapolis)

Currently seeking nurses in Indianapolis,IN for this short-term, temporary project beginning February 2012 ending in May.
Seeking nurses for a temporary medical record review examining issues related to preventative care and treatment. The project is an annual one and begins with training in February and concludes in early May. It is a weekday position (8-5) which requires as close to full time availability as possible. Nurses must be independent self-starters as well as team players. The bulk of the reviews will take place in a central location (downtown Indianapolis), but there will be opportunity for local travel. Candidates must be dependable with reliable transportation, detail-oriented with a desire to question and investigate findings for accuracy and completeness, and must be willing to commit to the project for the duration. The review requires nurses to be computer literate as there is a data entry component. Prior HEDIS experience is valued but not mandatory. This is an independent contractor position.
