Looking to hire:
Registered Nurse (RN):
Who will provide nursing care in accordance with the client's plan of care to include include comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluation,
monitoring of the client's condition, health promotion and prevention coordination of services, teaching and training activities and direct nursing care.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a state license as a Registered Nurse.
One or more years of experience in home health agency or in a hospital setting.
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
Knowledge of home health care and the principles and techniques of professional nursing and required documentation that pertains to it.
Should be skillful in organization and in the principles of time management and have knowledge of management processes.
Must be able to contribute to the quality of care being rendered through constructive communication with nursing managers and staff.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN):
Who will provide skilled nursing care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Perform selected skilled actions in the provision of curative, rehabilitative, palliative or preventative nursing care.
Responsible and accountable for making decisions that are based on the individual's nursing experience and educational preparation.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing with a state license as a Licensed Practical Nursing.
One or more years in the home health agency or in a hospital setting. Home health experience preferred.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
Provides personal care and related services in the home, under direction, instruction and supervision of the staff nurse and the Director of Nursing.
Tasks to be performed by an CNA/HHA must be assigned by and performed under the supervision of an RN who will be responsible for the patient care provided by the HHA.
Under no circumstances may an CNA/HHA be assigned to receive pr reduce any intravenous procedures, procedures involving the use of Levin's tubes or Foley catheters, or any other
sterile or invasive procedures, other than rectal temperatures or enemas.
Qualifications:
Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have completed a minimum of 75 hours of training which includes an introduction to personal care services.
Must be free from health problems that may be injurious to patient, self and co-workers and must present appropriate evidence to substantiate this.
Must be able to comprehend the basics of personal care, house keeping, and meal preparations.
Must understand and respect client's including ethics and confidentiality of care.
