Licensed Practical Nurse's (Manoa Valley)

Sisters of St. Frances of the Neumann Communities, provides a 10-bed in-residence health care services for our sisters. The facility (convent) also provides residence to an additional 35 sisters. We have immediate opportunities for all shifts with flexible hours including nights and weekends.
The responsibilities include administering medications and providing a wide variety of patient care functions within the limits of State of Hawaii license. The individual may be considered to be the "Charge Nurse" during shift and will provide leadership, management and direction to the nursing staff, and aides.
Assesses and documents care according to professional nursing practice and organizational policies.
Reviews medications for effectiveness, side effects, and the interaction with other medications. Works with the Nurses Aides in bathing, feeding, and in providing general assistance companionship, and care.
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to pull up to 250 lbs.
6 months of related experience in a similar adult day care facility
Current State of Hawaii licensing & CPR certification.
Current TB clearance or Positive PPD card.
Background check and drug screening performed.
