The Salvation Army Clitheroe Center is recruiting for an LPN to provide nursing to STU clients by administering medications according to standing orders: provides guidance to the STU Technicians assigned to the shift; documents client observations and status of withdrawal; performs nursing duties within established policies and procedure.
Minimum Qualifications
ï¶ Must have graduated from an approved school of nursing and have a current Alaska Board of Nursing license as an LPN
ï¶ Must have experience to assess the severity of the withdrawal syndrome and provide appropriate medical intervention according to standing orders
ï¶ Ability to provide for basic support n the event of an emergency, i.e., CPR, oxygen administration
ï¶ Experience in direct client care of alcohol/drug withdrawal management to include knowledge of the psychological and behavioral manifestations of chemical dependency
ï¶ Ability to work well with others using diplomacy and good judgment
ï¶ Must have the ability to write clearly and accurately
ï¶ Must have interpersonal communication skills appropriate in interviewing clients and providing
client teaching
ï¶ Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving and criminal history records
