activities of the program to ensure compliance with acceptable standards of
practice, applicable state, federal and OSHA laws and regulations, established
policies and procedures.  Must be able to maintain confidentiality in all areas
in accordance with HIPPA procedures. Maintains the on-going comprehensive
assessment of the quality of care and services provided by the hospice program.
Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner in accordance with
the Company's budgets. Travel by automobile and airplane as necessary.Requirements• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• Licensed Nurse in the state of hospice operation.
• Bachelor's degree and C.H.P.N. certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years Hospice or related health care field experience
preferred.
• Understanding of hospice philosophy, principles of death/dying, and the
ability to guide the caregiver and VistaCare staff in proper management of
symptoms.
• Experience with quality assessment/quality improvement processes.
• Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
• Effective speaking and training skills.
• Excellent problem solving, planning and project skills.
• Organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and computer literate.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
• Physical exam in accordance with state law requirements.
• Valid driver's license with maintenance of good driving record and an
automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or VistaCare
requirements and is in good working order.
• Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
