Telecare's Clark County Evaluation and Treatment Center is a 12 bed inpatient, acute psychiatric unit. An interdisciplinary team will provide progressive recovery based services to adults who have mental illness.
The LPN provides services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician, using Psychiatric Rehabilitation concepts and Recovery Philosophy. The LPN provides documentation on the response to treatment and notifies all parties of clinical changes of condition.
-One year of experience in psychiatric nursing in an acute hospital is required
-Graduation from an accredited LPN program and current licensure are also required
-Valid CPR Certificate required
-Necessary skills include a demonstrated understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, knowledge of psychotropic medications and knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the delivery of mental health services in the State of Washington
-Must have a strong understanding of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Concepts and Recovery philosophy
-Applicant may be fingerprinted and receive clearance from Washington State Patrol Identification and Criminal History
