Tuerk House, Inc. is looking for a P/T LPN or RN in the state of Maryland, who is also CPR certified to coordinate a new buprenorphine project. The applicant must posses the ability to utilize the nursing process and interpret the programs policies and procedures, as well as its goals and objectives that are necessary to providing quality patient care. The RN, under the supervision of the Medical Director and Outpatient Clinical and Administrative Directors, provides patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation from admission through transfer or discharge.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Â• Provide all medical care as prescribed by the Medical Director
Â• Maintain all medical records in an accurate and current fashion and to be responsible for their proper and safe storage.
Â• Administer all medications to clients and to be responsible for secure storage of medications.
Â• Must be familiar with all Maryland state standards for nursing practice in an Outpatient setting, and must keep Tuerk House, Inc in compliance with these standards at all times.
Â• Must participate in the Quality Assurance program of Tuerk House, Inc.
Â• Provide, or arrange client medical appointments away from Tuerk House.
Â• Must perform the Nursing Assessment of each client at admission into the buprenorphine program and provide for each client a continuing care plan at the time of transition to a community provider.

Abilities/Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity and expert knowledge of nursing practice.
Ability to make independent decisions.
Must be computer literate.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team member
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Location: Tuerk House, Inc. Baltimore, MD
Compensation: Salary Range: $22.00 - $34.00/hr. based upon experience
