JOB DUTIES
Additional duties and requirements beyond this listing may be required.
• Review and prepare patient charts
• Room patients
• Take vitals
• Remove dressings, staples, and stitches
• Assist in applying and removing casts
• Assist physician during exams and procedures
• Schedule patient appointments and tests
• Provide coverage for fellow co-workers when out
• Triage patient phone calls
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies
• Manage physician's schedule
• Provide administrative support to physician
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS
• 5 years POST-LICENSURE medical office or hospital work history in the specialties below
• Current MA or LPN license/certification
• Training in HIPAA regulations
• Experienced and confident in removing staples and stitches
• Customer service training
APPLICABLE SPECIALTIES FOR REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Surgical floor of a hospital
• Family Practice clinic
• Urgent care or ER
• Surgical or procedure assisting
• Pediatric practice
• Orthopedic practice
REQUIRED PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

WORK HOURS
• Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm
• 35 to 40 hours per week, 4 to 4 1/2 days per week
• No weekend or late night responsibilities
• No on-call responsibilities
SALARY AND BENEFITS
• Salary range between $13 and $17/hr depending upon licensure and experience
• 24 paid days off per year
• Full medical and vision insurance coverage
• 401k retirement with employer contributions of 8 to 10% of salary Location: Boise, ID
Compensation: $13 to $17/hr DOE
