Chateau Vestavia is an Assisted Living and Memory Care Community located in beautiful Vestavia Hills. We are under new management and in the process of renovation. We are in search of exceptional and experienced Nurses who are looking for PT/PRN employment in our Assisted Living or Memory Care neighborhood. We are only looking for compassionate, dedicated and energetic peoople to add to our team. You must be sensitive to the needs of Seniors and to those who have memory impairment.
We DO NOT have any Full Time positions available at this time, only those looking and needing PT/PRN employment will be considered. *This is a Direct Care Position and some AM and PM ADL care may be required, as needed. *Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Long Term Care (Assisted Living, Nursing Home) with Medication Administration to at least 40+ Residents and the ability to meet State time requirements *MAR review, accepting new Meds, sending Meds back to Pharmacy, Incident Reporting, Vitals, Helping in Dining Room, oversight of CNAs, ensuring assignments are completed, Narcotic Count, etc *Must be able to work full shift. No late in or early outs. *Must have STRONG supervisory skills to lead our CNAs by setting a good example, but being firm, fair and consistent.
This is a GREAT opportunity for LPNs who have worked in the hospital and/or Assisted Living.
We prefer at least 2 years experience working in and supervising an Assisted Living Wellness Center.
