Busy medical office seeks part time certified medical assistant / phlebotomist / LPN. Monday through Friday 7am - noon, no weekends. Position has the potential to become full time after 90 days.
OPEN INTERVIEW - Tuesday November 15th at 11am and 2pm. Please reply to this posting with your resume and to RSVP to one of the available times. Further instructions will then be provided.
Candidate must be professional, self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task. Candidate should be able to communicate in a caring and supportive manner with individuals of all backgrounds. Familiarity with office equipment is a must.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
• Collect routine laboratory specimens
• Process laboratory specimens
• Greet patients and obtain necessary information
• Patient scheduling, check-in, and follow-up
• Maintain accurate records
• Assist in patient recruitment and screening
• Provide assistance as needed to patients, physicians, and coordinators
• Possess excellent telephone skills and technique
• Respect and maintain patient privacy
• Assist in other assigned duties as necessary
• Maintain an organized, clean, and confidential work space
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Certification / Phlebotomist Certfication / LPN
• General Office Skills
• Ability to work well under stress
Salary based on experience. Insurance benefits not offered.
