We support the dignity of each of our residents and provide for their unique and varied physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
We are looking for a Full Time Day Charge Nurse (plus on call hours) for our large Independent Living/Level III Residential Care community in South Burlington.
Duties/Requirements include:
•Experience working in a long term care setting necessary
•Comfortable assessing residents needs and communicating with families, physicians as well as all necessary written compliance
•Management skills necessary to supervise staff on duty to make sure the needs of the residents are being met
•Outgoing, friendly personality
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Oversight of the day-to-day functions to ensure appropriate nursing services are provided to each resident
•Direct nursing care to our residents with a variety of conditions
•Answering resident calls and dealing with emergency situations
•Adhere to all policies and procedures of the facility
Candidates should possess an unencumbered active license to practice as an LPN or RN in Vermont.
Candidates should work effectively with other personnel, residents, family members, visitors, governmental representatives and the general public.
Ideal candidates will be flexible, dependable, patient, have supervisory experience, are able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and enjoy working in a team environment.
