POSITION PURPOSE:
To support the goals and objectives of the Medical Quality Management (MQM) department initiatives through the education, counseling, clinical management support and monitoring of members with specific disease states to maintain or improve their health status across all product lines.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Required Experience:
• Three years clinical nursing experience (to include patient care and education in an outpatient setting)
Required Certifications/Licenses:
• State of Idaho Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of:
• Microsoft Word — Basic
• Microsoft Excel — Basic
• Microsoft Outlook — Basic
Skills:
• Coding (CPT-4, ICD-9 and DRG)
• Teamwork
• Interpersonal
• Verbal and written communication
Ability to:
• Occasional local travel
• Utilize coaching and facilitation
• Time management
• Prioritize
• Work with minimal supervision
• Multi-task
• Give and receive clinical information and instruction
