Part-time LPN needed for an outpatient substsnce abuse treatment facility. Hours: Monday and Thursday 5:00AM until 11:00AM, and Saturday 6:00AM until 9:00AM. Other hours will be available occassionally from 5:00AM until 1:00PM on the other days. Duties include: • Completes physical examinations, including blood work, procures lab specimens and records the results of the tests, presents medical forms for the clinic physician's evaluation, consultation, and signature.• Accurately dispenses medications to patients in levels prescribed by Medical Director, • Documents patient prescriptions in software; assists in coordination of care with other medical practices as needed. • Evaluates potential patient safety issues in regards to dosing through assessment of patients who present with signs and symptoms of acute intoxication. Reports results of assessment to primary counselor and the Medical Director when a patient is believed to be inappropriate for dosing.• Answer patient's questions relating to pharmacology issues in a confidential, informative manner.
