Travel M/S LPN needed 11/1/11 - 8 weeks (Barrow, AK)

This 12 hour shift position(7a-7p, 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next) works in our 6-room Outpatient Clinic which runs like a doctor's office in the morning and urgent care in the afternoon. May assist in 2-bed Emergency Department. Works with RN's, LPN's and CNA's. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process under the supervision of an RN including planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation. Is responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care for patients based on nursing practice standards. Applies age specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care. Supports Samuel Simmonds Memorial Hospital mission statement. Is responsible for care of all patients from peds to geriatric. Proficient IV Skills, Computer literacy, and team player are essential to this position. Location: Barrow, AK
