My company, CEI Staffing Services (a no-fee agency), has recently been awarded a contract to supply on-call health care professionals to the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi. The Armed Forces Retirement Home offers Independent, Long Term/Skilled Care, Assisted Living, and Special Care (dementia) options for its residents.
The following table provides a brief overview of the estimated population:
Independent Living: 450-500
Assisted Living: 30-45
Memory Support: 10-15
Long Term Care: 10-20 *Contract staff may be assigned to any of the above units.
As mentioned above, this is an on-call position with shifts available on a 24/7, 365 day basis. The current schedule is as follows:
-Day Shift : 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
-Evening Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm, and
-Night Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
Our current pay rate for Licensed Practical Nurses is $17.00/Hour regular pay and $25.50/Hour holiday pay.
