LPN - Clitheroe Center (The Salvation Army)

The Salvation Army Clitheroe Center is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care to STU clients by administering medications according to physician orders; provides guidance to the STU Technicians assigned to shift; documents client observations and status of withdrawal; performs nursing duties within established policies and procedure and scope of license.
Minimum Qualifications
ï¶ Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
ï¶ Current license from the Alaska Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse
ï¶ Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
ï¶ Skills to assess the severity of withdrawal syndrome and to provide appropriate medical
intervention according to standing orders
ï¶ Ability to provide basic life support in the event of an emergency (i.e., CPR, oxygen
administration and airway suction)
ï¶ Experience in direct client care of alcohol/drug withdrawal management with knowledge of
the psychological and behavioral manifestations of chemical dependency
ï¶ Ability to communicate clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
ï¶ Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving and criminal history records
