An Anchorage outpatient specialty clinic is growing and we are looking for a RN/LPN Clinic Nurse to join our office! Quality patient care is our top priority and that means we take the time with each patient to provide them with compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable care. We are looking for a nurse interested in joining in this collaborative process with our providers.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the process of patient care as they are treated in a multidisciplinary setting ; collaborating with physicians and team members; and, providing psychological support to patients and their families. Must be committed to the core values of compassion, integrity, respect and unity.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ability to provide nursing care including but not limited to administering treatments in compliance with the physician's orders and applicable clinical policy, interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care, collaborating with other health care providers and providing education to patients and/or significant others (while in compliance with HIPAA).
• Must document/chart observations and other data related to the clinical condition of the patient. Must properly and accurately chart observations and activities related to patient care.
• Communicates report to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with the clinic policy.
• Participates in clinic educational programs as requested.
• Performs related duties as requested.
POSITION EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• Licensure appropriate to the state of Alaska and the appropriate certifications to the position and hospital
• Minimum one year previous job experience
• Proficient oral and written communication skills,Fast paced, deadline and detail oriented
• Annual physical
• Two professional references from current/former supervisors
• Citizen of the United States or proof of the right to work in the US.
