LPN Psychiatry Assistant (Greater Jackson Area)

Rapidly growing provider of psychiatric services seeks LPN with long term care experience and basic knowledge of psych medications to assist our psychiatrists/NPs. This is a permanent position documenting medications, lab results and behaviors. You will also be doing scheduling and organizing for our psychiatrists/NPs. There is no direct patient care. This position is PT approx 2 - 3 days a week on a normal workday (no weekends or evenings).
Ideal candidate will have worked in a nursing home at some point in their career and will also have dispensed or charted psych meds. You must have good computer skills, excellent spelling, strong people skills, be extremely organized, and have a dependable car. Travel includes various locations in the greater Jackson area.
