LPN Travel Position - 1 Year Contract (Maine)

Current Needs:
We are very excited to be assisting one our well known clients in staffing In-Service Nurse
Educators / Licensed Practical Nurses for week long assignments located across the country.
Position Description:
You will be responsible for facilitating and/or retrieving devices from patient care areas; deliver to field service engineer's work areas and then return devices after completion of work and cleaning to patient care areas. This will take place onsite at hospitals and health care facilities. There will be no patient contact. You will be part of a pool of LPNs who travel to customer sites, either locally to you or in another state. Schedules are made in advance and when called upon, if you are not available, you have the option of passing. The project starts in late July with an end date of June 2012.
Job Requirements:
At least 2 years ward based experience in an acute care setting preferred
At least 3 years hospital experience required
Licensed and active LPN license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lift and move devices weighing up to 27 lbs. within short distances in the work area, and be able to bend and stoop as needed
Valid driver's license
You must live near a major airport (East Coast, West Coast, Midwest, or Northeast)
Comfortable speaking to large groups
Willingness to travel outside your local geography
Willingness to travel and work for 1 week stints
