Maxim Healthcare's office in Brandon, FL is seeking caring and dependable RNs and LPNs for pediatric homecare cases in east tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Plant City, Valrico and Apollo Beach, FL. At this time, all shifts are available on Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem schedules. While Maxim encourages all nurses with a minimum of 1 year of experience to apply, ideal candidates for these cases should preferably have prior experience with Pediatric, Ventilator, Trach and G-Tube Care, as these skills are directly related to the needs of the patients. In an effort to ensure that all nurses are prepared for the needs of their patients, the New Port Richey office offers in-service training and orientation in Pediatric, Ventilator, Trach and G-Tube Care.

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to work within our clients? homes providing direct patient care. Working with the physician, Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) develop and manage nursing care plans, as well as instruct patients and their families in proper treatment, helping individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health. As a Maxim RN / LPN you will be responsible for following a physician established plan of treatment under the direction of our Director of Clinical Services. Maxim believes that qualified nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families and communities.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required with home health experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements
- Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray
- Reliable transportation
-All CEU'S Complete and up to date;
-HIV/AIDS 1hr
-Domestic Violence 2hr
-Alzheimer's Disease 2hr
-Medical Error and Safety 2hr
-Infection Control 1hr
-Resident/Patient Rights 1hr
-Medical record Documentation and Legal Aspects 1hr
